This drawing indicates the cornice elevation typically. All the intricate ‘bar relief’ and ‘dentil’ details are shown. They match the existing cornice as per Landmarks Commission requirements.

This detailed cornice section drawing indicates all the intricate connections required to hang the structure securely to the parapet wall, with a guarantee to last for at min. 20 to 25 years. The small gap between the top of the parapet wall and the cornice is protected with a continuous drain pan with flashing to divert all water from the steel brackets to prevent rusting. The cornice was mocked up at least 3 times and adjusted, per Landmarks Requirements, before the final section to be used was decided upon.
